Restaurant Inspections

These pages are designed to provide information to the public concerning food service establishment inspections conducted by Alberta Health Services in Medicine Hat and area.

Each inspection report posted here describes conditions found in the food service establishment at the time of inspection.  While the information may provide you with an indication of an establishment's food handling practices and sanitation, the inspection report gives only a snap shot in time of the conditions observed.

Medicine Hat and area restaurant inspections are now hosted on South Zone restaurant inspections website. Please click this link – http://www5.albertahealthservices.ca/bins/inspection/ to check the latest restaurant inspections. Please click the link on the bottom of this page if you wish to refer to historical inspections.

These historical inspections will not be available online after April 30, 2012 as the website hosting historical inspections will be decommissioned.

Inspection reports are posted as they relate to the current ownership up to a maximum of five inspections beginning January 1, 2008.

While we make every effort to keep the information on this web site accurate and up-to-date, please recognize that inspections are occurring continuously.  As a result, the most recent posting may not necessarily reflect the current situation.  The dates of the most recent postings are indicated.

If you have any questions about a particular food establishment report or if you find omissions or discrepancies, please contact us at SouthZone.EnvironmentalHealth@AlbertaHealthServices.ca
